Do you offer in-person consultations? Will you come to my home?
No. We do not make house calls. We currently offer free one hour phone consultations to potential clients. Personal consultations are subject to an hourly fee of $125.
Why do you charge to access files older than 60 days?
We have a comprehensive client base, all needing backup files. It can be time consuming to find a specific file from 2 years ago. There is no guarantee that we can provide you with the file you are seeking.
How do you bill your clients?
Most clients provide a deposit before work begins and pay for their services when work is completed. Clients with larger needs or who require monthly project time can request to be on our payment plan. A retainer for services must be contracted with a sizable deposit. Clients will then be billed on the 1st of the month and are expected to send the minimum payment by 5pm EST on the 15th or a $20 late fee will be charged. Scrappy Studios has the right to restrict production services if balance is too high.
I made my payment on-time but my check was made out to Scrappy Studios, not an individual. Why won't you accept my check and why was it considered delinquent?
We are a freelance design house. Payment is to be made to the individual that handled/worked on your project, not Scrappy Studios. Any payment that is improperly addressed will be considered late if not properly re-addressed and resubmitted by the due date.
Do you accept credit cards?
We do accept credit card payments through PayPal on a limited basis. Requests for payment through PayPal must be approved. We DO NOT accept PayPal for hosting payments.
Do you charge rush fees?
Yes. Any request needing completion in less than 7 business days will be subject to a rush fee.
Will you inform me when my account renewals are due?
If you are a Scrappy Studios hosted client you will receive a notice of expiration 30 - 40 days before your expiration date. This will be your only notice. It is then your responsibility to pay your bill. No exceptions.
What are your policies and terms of service?
All clients are expected to comply with our Terms of Service Agreement.
